The Wilder Tactical Minimalist Battle Belt is constructed with a laser-cut proprietary 1000D Cordura® laminate. Designed with the operator in mind, this versatile belt pad is the perfect foundation for Wilder Tactical Pouches.
The exterior features vertical laser-cut slots that accommodate ANY belt (up to 1.75”). The textured neoprene interior creates a comfortable non-slip system that eliminates the need for a velcro inner Belt.
*Belt pad only. Rigger's belt and Wilder Tactical Pouches sold separately
Sizing: The minimalist belt pad is not designed to fit completely around your waist. Instead, it should be worn where the ends of the pad rest on your hip bone.
This belt is exactly what I was looking for, there's a reason every video review is more like a commercial for it, the only thing is if you're a 40" waist go ahead and get the large don't think you have to add 2"and get the extra large I got the extra large in the belt overlaps itself, only put 4 stars so my review it stand out.
...you mount some of your gear to your vest or chest rig.
I bought a belt pad for duty carry for both my wife and I. I carry more stuff because I work a lot more traffic interdiction.
HERS: Wilder Tactical Belt Pad w/ 5.11 Sierra Bravo Duty Belt, Blackhawk Serpa Holster, double mag pouch, baton, handcuff, flashlight, radio
HIS: Wilder Tactical Belt Pad w/ Tac Shield T303 Cobra Belt, Safariland Holster w/ light, 2x handcuffs, baton, X2 Taser, M4 Mag, radio, flashlight, multi-tool, tourniquet
I don't like mounting stuff to my vest unless I'm working ATV's. I help my wife put her belt together and with the 5.11 SB (2" Width) it was a little snug getting the belt through the loops. However, with the lesser amount of gear on her belt the neoprene on the inside stayed pretty flat and snug to the body.
Having more stuff, my setup didn't work as well and created a lot more bumps defeating the purpose for a comfortable quick on & off application. I had to go back to keepers and my 2.25 in nylon duty belt.
I wanted this to work for myself, however unless you're running a "MINIMALIST" setup, competition shooting, SOD, and/or share some of your gear on your outer rig, it may or may not work.
BUILD QUALITY: 10/10
I’ve used this for a week and really like it. I carry typical patrol tools plus extra weighted equipment. The far battle belts seemed too much. Saw my Swat crew with one. Have it a try. It’s light & comfortable. Light, but holds a suitable regitity for donning. I’m not a nylon belt fixed placement fan, however so far I’m loving how balanced my equipment feels. I’d recommend giving this product a try. Belt straps are strong & don’t seem to give when you weave your belt into place. I prob gonna get another one for diff setups.
Extremely fast shipping, got my belt within the week and holds up great!
